LIFE STORY |
We have the means and ability to create hopeful futures
My life story can be summed up in two words: helping people (Well, this is what I want the summary of my life to be at the end of my life). I’m a public health student -turned children’s book author who’s traveled all over the the world, attempting to both learn about what makes us human and how I can contribute to making the world a better place. I love solving problems, random adventures, and especially random adventures that solve a problem! I truly believe that the best thing a person can do during their lifetime is to lift a burden, any burden, from another human being. We’re surrounded by people, literally all around us, who not only need a helping hand, they need hope. We have the means and ability to create hopeful futures – ones that preserve our current resources, restore our previous resources, and protect our future resources. Essentially, we’re all in this life together, let’s act in a manner that shows it.
PASSION |
Simply put: Food. Whether it is an issue of western society’s (the United States in particular) use of an agriculural system that minamizes profits for farmers, maxamizes profits for food companies, endagers the lives of both humans and animals, and risks the overall welfare of the environment; or it is an issue of access to food in countries around the world… food is a basic right, a requirement for life on this planet. We should create systems that ensure this most basic element is available for every person on earth.
